Rail Grinding Train RGM-48К

The RGM-48К Rail Grinding Train is used to restore the shape of the railheads, eliminate corrugation and remove the defective metal layer from the working surfaces of all types of rails with any type of fastenings The train consists of four units connected by tight-lock couplers: one TES-1000 diesel powered vehicle and three grinding cars.

Large area and depth of the ground surface

The train levels the surface of the rail head along the track, eliminating rail corrugation and restoring the original strength characteristics of the rails

The machine is changing the rail head geometry, removing the surface defects and forming the required shape of the rail head
