Sinara Transportation’s Center for Research and Development (CRD) is an engineering company, specialized on the development of innovative railway equipment.

It carries out research and development work on the creation of traction and a specialized rolling stock , the development of design and technological documentation, software for microprocessor control systems.  The biggest customers are: Russian Railway, Mechel Trans Vostok, AK “Railway roads of Yakutiya.

CRD is a member of the Energy Efficient Technologies Cluster of the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

A system of project management and product life cycle management based on the Siemens Teamcenter environment has been implemented at the STM Innovation Development Center.

The company is making a full transition to designing in the Siemens NX environment.

In 2019, the company implemented and certified a quality management system in compliance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2015.

CRD has developed a number of statements and instructions, which made it possible to regulate the process of developing new equipment in compliance with GOST R ISO 9001-2015.
