Kaluga Track Machines and Hydraulic Drives Plantis a leading machinery manufacturing company engaged in production of track maintenance vehicles for railway tracks repairs, construction and operation The enterprise was created back in 1874 on the basis of production facilities of the Kaluga Railway Main Workshop. In March 2014, the factory became a part of the Sinara-Transport Machines holding.
Products
The factory produces track maintenance vehicles, industrial diesel locomotives; hydraulic transmissions for rail motor cars, industrial and shunting diesel locomotives, and diesel multiple unit trains; hydraulic torque converters for powerplants of drilling rigs; hydraulic couplings and drives for production machinery.
Kalugaputmash is the only company in Russia producing track laying cranes, self-propelled rail welding machines, ballast regulating and leveling machines, and hydraulic transmissions for track maintenance vehicles and industrial shunting diesel locomotives.
The track maintenance vehicles of Kalugaputmash are in high demand with Russian clients and are also exported to India, Pakistan, Libya, Serbia, Mozambique, Cuba, the CIS and Baltic countries.
