High-Speed 6-Axle 80ft Flatcar13-6704

The 13-6704 High-Speed 6-Axle 80ft Flatcar is designed for the transportation of large-tonnage 20-, 40-, 45-, and 53ft contain- ers.

The new 80’ flatcar has innova- tive three-axle bogies which al- low for a uniform distribution of the load.

A number of unique structural solutions increase the flatcar carrying capacity, at the same time decreasing the axle load to 20 tonnes per axle, which is why the car can carry two 40ft containers.

Three-axle bogies minimize impact on the track and wheel/rail wear without reducing the cargo capacity
