The AM-140 Modular Multi-Pur- pose Vehicle may be used for:

• Transportation of the rail- way workers, tools and track equipment to the place of maintenance or repair works

• Day-to-day maintenance of the railway communication systems

• Loading and unloading oper- ations

• Exploiting the functionality of the installed modules

• Installation, repair and emer- gency restoration of the over- head catenary on electrified railways
